Native Plant Series for Wild Foodies (June - October 2020)

Meets one Sunday every month from January to May from 9:30am to 4/5pm. All supplies (besides a notebook) will be included with each class.

In this series of classes, the focus will be on a singular regional (invasive, non-native or native) plant taking center stage each class session. We will begin each class with a guided plant meditation to connect with this plant spirit and discussions will be held after. History, folklore, benefits, medicinal and culinary influences will also be discussed and examples given, if applicable. The remainder of the classes will be spent in my home kitchen cooking, baking, freezing, and making medicine from the featured plant.

Featured plants: Elderflower, Elderberry, Purple Sage, Mugwort and Black Sage
